1. Engine Cooling System Integrity & Thermal Management
Maintaining engine coolant temperature within its optimal operating window (85°C to 95°C) is the single most important factor for powertrain longevity. Using tap water inside aluminum cooling loops causes rapid scale buildup, electrochemical corrosion, water pump impeller degradation, and internal radiator blockage. Always utilize certified ethylene-glycol pre-mixed 50/50 coolant for elevated boiling point protection and corrosion inhibition. Annually verify radiator cap pressure rating and electric fan multi-speed staging.
Pro Tip: Never use plain tap water. Strictly utilize certified 50/50 ethylene glycol coolant to prevent corrosion and radiator pinholes.
